Ocotillo - Plaster City
Located approximately 17 miles west of El Centro on County Highway , this off-road highway vehicle (OHV) open area provides ample opportunity to test individual riding skills over a variety of terrain. Two staging areas, Plaster City East and Plaster City West, are popular primitive camping, and day use areas. Limited use areas and military practice bombing targets are immediately adjacent to the open area. Please observe all posting signs and do not enter the bombing ranges.
Superstition
Located north of Plaster City OHV open area, this area presents an array of challenging OHV riding opportunities. Cross-country OHV use is permitted within the boundaries of this area. From County Highway S80, take Huff Road north to Wheeler Road. Follow Wheeler Road to one of several popular primitive camping areas, or to the base of Superstition Mountains.
Ocotillo Wells
Adjacent to Anza Borrego Desert State Park, this area has desert terrain from below sea level to 400 foot elevations. It is a motorcycle, four-wheel drive, all-terrain vehicle, and dune buggy use area
Gordons Well
Gordens Well is located about 2 and a half hours east of San DIego CA and offers a wide variety of sand dunes, sand drags and hill climbs.
Glamis
Glamis is located about 3 hours east of san diego off Hwy. 78 and about 45 minutes from Gordons well. glamis offers the same Sand Dunes, sand drags and hill climbs as Gordons Well
